- Teaching Style
- I believe true learning occurs when a person can teach someone else what he/she has learned. With this fundamental concept, I take a collaborative approach to teaching; teacher to student, student to student, student to teacher. Only through open communications can we have a true understanding of our community, its values, needs, and special issues. Encouragement and support of independent learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making and questioning are key components in my classes.
